Default A good N/R PVP Build?

First off I want to introduce myself This is my first post
I have Prophecies and EOTN right now. Level 19.
Pretty much I want a sick PVP build. Anything you guys can build for me? Is it worth investing in max armour? Is there a cheaper place than Droks to do this? Best weapons? (Staff or Bow?)

I plan on ascending...tomorrow I think. Still completing some of the main quests...

I know I messed up, should have made a R/N, but I started as a N/M, and I hate the mesmer part lol. So I plan on switching out for a N/R ASAP.

You're not supposed to ask for builds, so this might get locked. But here's a link that might help:

Definately.

Nope.

Staff for necro primary. Bow for ranger.

Welcome to GWG.

you can get max armor for free from some collectors, you just need to check wiki for the stuff you need. It may be hassle to do it that way but if your tight on cash its worth it

3. Asking for Builds

Please refrain from posting simply asking for other users to post builds for you. We cannot keep posting builds until we find one to your liking. Please post your own build so that we have an idea of what you're trying to achieve and help you improve it. Moreover, many specimen builds can be found in the stickied profession guides at the top of each profession sub-forum, if you really need that much help in starting a build. Many builds can also be found via searching.
I could be sticky about this but I'm curious. Which type of PvP do you plan on doing? Because not only are the formats dramatically different,so are the builds.I'm also struggling to think why you'd want to play N/R in PvP,there are no benefits to it.

Well I didn't plan on doing any PVPs, but now I'm interested, and I don't wanna start over lol. What if I asked if you could improve my build, would that comply with rules?
And how do I rune my character's? Is that expensive, what runes should I use?

Your question isn't one that crops up on a daily basis really which is why I didn't lock the thread.

Post your build and say wether it's for PvE or PvP first off.Runes will get expensive if you want to do PvP on a PvE char because of the need to change around.

The other options are buy more sets of armor and different head peices or just use a PvP character as perfect salvage kits from Eotn will get costly over time.

I take it this is sarcasm? i tend to throw my conditions back to where they came from as a necro

--------
@OP, i would suggest reading some more threads here at the campfire on Necros and 2e. Since you can change them fairly easily you should just try to find something that works for you (where i do want to point out PvE and PvP are different; so i would advice making a PvP only char to PvP, so you dont run into having tons of armor sets for buildchanges, as PvP chars can use the buttons to do this).

I have run a N/R from release of prophecies mainly to have a Pet, this because i like Pets And atleast they dont need a corpse to spawn, and need less maintenance then minnions/horrors..

As a N/R you will find the bow to be somewhat suckish (appart from pulling every now and then) since bows dont come with big energy buffs ... it was my idear at first to use a bow, but i find myself using a wand/focus 99,99% of the time... I still have a Zealous bowstring in my chest to use if for energy replenishment, but it has been in my chest for years now

I did find my N/R to be decent in a trapperteam (enough energy to trap, esp. with the right skills), then use the bow to pull, and throw in a MoP just b4 the traps activate ...

A N/R can also function as an order necro, with Trollurgent and Healing Spring as the main HP replacements so one can spam the orders... and (a) Trap(s) for your protection, something cripling atleast gives you some time to run away ... I haven't been able to order this way since the 'LF R1 players' began in HA though

I use my N/R mainly as a N/- ... especially as i got more and more skills that worked better then having 2slots for my pet. with the change to Comfort i have again (with much joy) equiped my pet (black widow spider , as this looks very necro'y for a pet)

Judging from your I want a Wham/Bam/Dead Necro, perhaps look into Elementalist for a ward and the energy discount for 2 heavy necro spells. instead of a Ranger... or if you like to be a Minion Master, use a 2e Monk untill you have all the good Death magic skills that let you run your minnions N/- only...

Goodluck
